Safety
The safety of every member of the chain formed by the Blindex® Franchise System is essential to ensure that products are delivered appropriately, ensuring customer satisfaction and welfare of Blindex® installers.
As the handling of any kind of glass offers risks of injury to the person who performs the job, Blindex® strongly recommends the use of appropriate and in good condition Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the installation, whenever the glass in handling.
Gloves
Suitable to protect the arms, forearms and hands against splash of materials in fusion, cutting and welding, the safety gloves may be made of tanned chrome and set models with buckles or velcro closure. Options in canvas with rubber, Grafatex or Lined Terrycloth PVC (antacid) are also available.
Boots
Boots or shoes can both be used, since made of PVC with non-skid sole, suitable for usage in humid places.
The version with steel toe protects against heavy materials that might fall over the user’s feet.
Glasses
The safety glasses are specified according to the type of risk offered by handling certain materials, from the drilling to suspended dust, passing by chemical materials, radiation and welding or hot cutting torch jobs.
Pinch (Arm protector)
The pinches protect the user’s arms and forearms from the abrasive agents, used in welding and similar processes.
