 Globally recognized for the technological excellence and huge capacity of innovation, NSG Group acts on the four continents and has a large market share in the segments of products for building, automotive and specialized glass industries.

Founded by 1918, in 2006 NSG Group had acquired Pilkington, a global British leader in manufacturing glass.

There are three Strategic Business Units across the world.

  • Architectural Glass: Glass to apply in architecture and solar energy sector as well.
  • Automotive: meets the automotive glass replacement market and specialized glass for transportation market.
  • Technical Glass: It includes the glass for monitors, lenses and light guides for printers, and also glass fiber, used in battery separators and engine belts.

Member of NSG Group since June of 2006, Pilkington is one of the most important glass and products for glazing, for the building and automotive markets manufacturer, working on 29 countries and selling products in 130 countries.

Founds in 1826, has turned a private company in 1894. In 1970 had placed its shares on the London Stock Exchange and in June of 2006 is no longer a publicly trades company, starting to operate as a subsidiary of the NSG Group.
